Sarson Ka Saag (as is known in Hindi, Urdu) or (Saroon Da Saag, in Punjabi) is a popular vegetarian dish from the Indian subcontinent's Punjab region. It is made of mustard (sarson) leaves, and spices like ginger and garlic. Usually it is eaten with makki di roti. A special Punjab dish is considered to be Sarson Ka Saag and makki di roti with lassi. It is preferred in the winter season.
